Alan Young Show

The Alan Young Shows was a situation comedy broadcast from 1944 to 1949. Started as a summer replacement program for "Eddie Cantor," the series featured the British-born actor Alan Young playing himself as a shy young man doing gag routines. The Alan Young Show later became a television series which ran from 1950 until 1953.

Alan Young was remembered as a master comedian and was best known for his role as Wilbur Post on a television series "Mr. Ed."
